Dear Church Family,
Happy Monday to everyone! Today at 5:00 PM will begin Phase One of our reopening process. I must say I have very mixed emotions about what we have been through the last two months. What has brought balance to my life has been the knowledge of the sovereignty of God. If we are at a place we don’t understand, then our God, our heavenly Father, has us there for a reason. With that said, our restart will not be without challenges nor will we be returning to a full fledge schedule of in building activities. For the rest of this month, we will only be having Sunday morning worship starting at 10:30 AM. Seating for the service will be separated into clusters of seats with 6 foot distancing per cluster. Families units are asked to sit together during worship service. We will not be providing a staffed nursery but parents with small children can have access to the nursery for baby changing needs and the like. We will have mask available for those who need them thanks to sister Martha Harvey. Hand sanitizer is still unavailable as well as hands free dispensers but we will continue to be on the lookout for both in coming weeks. For the rest of the month of May we will be following what is being referred to as Phase One Guidelines and they are as follows;
Operate strict social distancing mitigation, i.e. 6 feet apart.
Limit to 50% of capacity, spacing out seating if needed.
Consider shortened services
No kids ministry, nursery, or social gatherings
Encourage wearing of mask if people feel more comfortable
Consider ministry and needs of the elderly and vulnerable.
We will get through this with the Lord’s help and we will be better because of His help. Be patient and continue to pray for one another. I love you all and look forward to seeing you Sunday at 10:30 AM for worship. Let me also add, if any of our church family feels uncomfortable in returning to in house worship just yet , we will continue to livestream services as we have been doing. Feel free to take your time, we want you to be confident in your return to in house worship.
May the Lord bless you all,
